Cinnamon Fruit Biscuits - an easy breakfast
An easy recipe for breakfast or a snack. You can easily switch the jam for a different flavor. Your family will love them.
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuits separated (I used Grands)
- 1/4 butter melted
- 10 tsp. strawberry jam
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and the cinnamon. Mix well.
Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl (this will take about 30 seconds in the microwave)
Dip the tops and sides of the biscuits in the butter and then dip them in the cinnamon sugar mix.
Place them on an uncreased cookie sheet and make an indention in the center. I used the end of a wooden spoon handle.
Place 1 tsp jam in the indention
Bake at 375 for 15 - 18 minutes or until brown.
Cool for around 15 minutes - the jam will be very hot.
